Madhvacharya and Ideology
To show the world the light of knowledge, god incarnated as lord hanuman in thretayuga and as bhimasena in dvapara. He directed Vayudeva to incarnate in the Kaliyuga and to look after the well being of good people. Vayudeva, as instructed by god incarnated as 'Vasudeva' in 1238 AD, shalivahana.shake.1260 vilambinama savanthsara ashvayuja shuddadhashami on a wednesday to the couple madhyageha bhat and vedavathi in a place called pajaka, in the south-east direction and eleven km away from Udupi, the land of Lord Parashurama. The baby was preceded with thirty-two sallakshana's. During 5th year Vasudeva was introduced to learning and upanayana was also held. The incarnation of Vayudeva, Vasudeva was well versed with all shastras like a sarvajna. But at the age of 10, he finished gurukula education and received sanyasashrama from Udupi Sri Achyutha preksha at the age of 11. He was named as 'Purnaprajna'. And was also called as 'Anandatirtha madhva'. Acharya moving forward defeated scholars, and winning in different countries, kept dvaita triumphant.
Acharya Madhva, has written 37 granthas. They are famous as sarvamoola grantha. Geeta prasthana granthas (gitabashya, geeta tatparya nirnaya) suthra prasthana granthas (brahma sutrabashya, anuvyakhyana, anubashya, nyayavivarana) upanishatpra sthana granthas (aitareyopanishat, chandogyopanishat, brahdaranyakopanisad, ishavasyopanishat, talavakaropanishat, shatprashnopanishat, katakopanishat, atharvanopanishat, mandokapanishat, and taitiriyopanishat bhashya) shruti prasthana grantha, (hrugbhashya) ithihasa prasthana grantha (mahabharata tatparya nirnaya, yamakabharata) prakarana granthas (tathvasankhyana, tathvaviveka, tathvodyota, visnutathva nirnaya, pramanalakshana, kathalakshana, upadhikhandana, mayawadi khandana, prapancha mithyatpanumana khandana, karmanirnaya) achara granthas (tanthrasara sangraha, sadacharasmati, jayanthinirnaya, krishnamrathamaharnava, pranavakalpa) stotra kruti (nakasthuti, dvadashastotra, kandukastuti)

Srimanmadhvamate harihi paritaraha satyam jagattattvatho bhedo jivagana hareranuchara nichochabhavangataha |
muktirnaijasu khanubhuthiramala bhaktischa tatsadhanam hykshadritayam pramanamakhilamnayaikavedyo harihi ||
- 1). Hari is sarvottama.
- 2). This world is the truth in reality
- 3). Five types of discriminations jada -jeeva, jada-jada, jeeva-jeeva, jada-parmatma, jeeva-parmatma are also true in reality.
- 4). All life substances belong to shri hari.
- 5). There is discrimination as high and low level.
- 6). Attaining the happiness based of his life itself is moksha.
- 7). Innocent devotion is the way to mukthi.
- 8). Prathyaksha, Anumana, Agama are the three Pramanas.
- 9). Hari can be known only by knowing all the vedas.
Acharya Madhva's 9 prameya rathnas are described as 'Prameya Rathnavali'.
